This is a deeply personal film for me. In its truest sense, “Hello Dad” is a reflection of my own grief and yearning for my father. It is a recognition that no matter how many years pass when grief and memories come up, they hit exactly the same and over a period of time you slowly get more accustomed to live with them but doesn’t mean they dont hurt. The film explores the raw and unspoken bond between a father and daughter, one that transcends the physical world. It’s a story of releasing, healing, and the quiet moments of reconnection that we experience in our hearts, even when the ones we love are no longer with us. The film is a tribute to my own father, his presence, his love, and the strength he continually gives me, even in his absence. – neha lohia
